The first Hong Kong Open Memory Championships was held on the 28th and 29th of September in 2013. In these two days, 100 mental athletes from around the world competed against each other in 10 disciplines. Mark Anthony Pascual Castaneda is the overall champion, and he had won a prize money of HKD$10,000!

Special thanks to the Education Development Foundation Association for sponsoring two junior competitors (Ma Jin Yau and Wong Samuel Wun Tak) to participate in the World Memory Championship 2013 in London.
